Apparently a study by a couple of Cambridge University professors, commissioned by the National Union of Teachers, has concluded that poor parenting is to blame for a deterioration in the behaviour of primary school children over the past five years.
Well, well, so that’s the reason! Thank Heaven for the clever Cambridge professors and for the generosity of the NUT in commissioning this vital study! We might never have known!
Of course it is parents’ fault when they lose control of their children long before they even arrive at primary school, so that the little brats pay no attention to parents, teachers or anyone else subsequently. Who else’s fault could it be?
