Well, the house lights were on still at 11am but by mid-afternoon the sun was shining and I should have gone cycling. How can you walk away when the light is right, there is a half-finished painting on the easel and the required colours have been drying on the palette for two days? So I stayed at home and painted and here it is.
Now come on! Be fair! Did I promise anything special? I did not. I just said that I would post my pictures here (warts and all and there are plenty of warts) and, if you can stand it, click on the picture for an enlarged version.
The painting is based on a photograph that I took a couple of years ago in Cornwall and I used Winsor & Newton, “Artisan” water-mixable oil paints.
